Mayor Rick Kriseman and Police Chief Anthony Holloway unveiled a newly revamped Community Resource Bus in the Jordan Park neighborhood Thursday.

Thanks to a grant from the Foundation for a Healthy St. Petersburg, the bus received a facelift and upgrades to better help residents.

It brings together law enforcement and healthcare resources to people who otherwise might not have easy access to them.

Baycare provides diabetes screenings on the bus including cholesterol and blood pressure checks.

The St. Petersburg Police Department, Healthy St. Pete, Foundation for a Healthy St. Petersburg, and the Florida Department of Health in Pinellas County, are working together through the Community Resource Bus to connect residents to community resources.
