St. Petersburg police investigate decomposed body found in water near Vinoy Park

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The St. Petersburg Police Department is investigating after a decomposed body was found in the water, east of Vinoy Park shortly after 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

Police have not released details regarding the person’s sex, identity or cause of death.
