Stroll through an authentic Victorian Christmas

It’s a stroll through time to experience an authentic Victorian Christmas.

The Henry B. Plant museum hosted its annual Victorian Christmas Stroll for the next few weeks.

Visitors can view a hundred trees filled with antique ornaments, thousands of lights, and several rooms with Victorian themes. Visitors can also enjoy spiced cider and cookies on the veranda while listening to carolers that perform every night at 6pm.

“When people visit the museum they see all the original artwork, artifacts, and furniture from the Tampa Bay Hotel that opened in 1891 and what we’ve done is create an authentic Victorian Christmas in a lot of our rooms," said Lindsay Huban/Museum Relations Manager. "Some of the rooms have themes that are represented in Victorian times and others are filled with antique ornaments from the 1890s.”
