Students pepper sprayed during fight at a Riverview middle school
RIVERVIEW, Fla. - There were some tense moments for several middle school students in Riverview Tuesday after a student used pepper spray during a fight, Hillsborough County deputies said.
According to investigators, there was a planned fight between two groups of girls. During the fight, one of the girls used pepper spray on some of the others.

There were no serious injuries, but paramedics, firefighters and deputies responded to the incident.
By the end of the school day, HCSO said no arrests had been made, but charges may be forthcoming.

A Hillsborough County School District spokesperson sent a statement to FOX 13.
"Our schools have a variety of resources and support, including a team of trusted adults that students can go to if they are having issues with other students. We consistently remind students that there are other ways to resolve conflicts. We as school leaders, parents, and community members need to continue to be involved and help teens and young adults understand how they can address problems they may be having in a productive way."
