Teen killed in Tampa shooting; homicide investigation underway: Police
TAMPA, Fla. - A teen was shot and killed on Wednesday in the 8200 block of Hillsborough Lane in Tampa, officers said.
The Tampa Police Department said detectives are now investigating the homicide, which happened just before 6 p.m.

What we know:
Officers said they responded to the area after they received reports that someone had been shot. They found a Black male believed to be in his mid-teens with upper-body trauma, according to TPD.

The teen was taken to the hospital, but was pronounced dead.
What we don't know:
Officials have not said if they are looking for any suspects in this case, but they said it appears that everyone involved in the incident was known to each other. Investigators have not released the identity of the victim.
