A Tampa man was sentenced to a total of 20 years for the death of his girlfriend's toddler.

Deandre Gilmore was convicted Friday of manslaughter and felony battery.  He was sentenced today.

Gilmore said he was babysitting Myla Presley when he left the 19-month-old girl alone in the bathtub for a few minutes and she fell.  But prosecutors had medical evidence showing multiple hemorrhages in her brain and bruising all over her body.

Gilmore has already served three and a half years behind bars. He will get credit for that time.
