WATCH: Waterspout travels through Florida panhandle

Dramatic videos of a waterspout moving onshore to become a tornado at a Florida beach have caught the attention of many on social media on Sunday.

People and agencies at Fort Walton Beach captured the moment when the massive spiral of water descended on land in the Florida panhandle. The Fort Walton Beach Police Department shared video on the agency's Facebook page showing the waterspout spiraling through the area.

The National Weather Service received tornado reports and two were officially confirmed by Sunday evening. The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office reports tree and roof damage in the area. There were no reported injuries.

The agency said power was knocked out to 2,800 homes.
