A woman battling cancer got a chance to live out her dream when she was "showered with puppies" at a Sacramento animal shelter.

The video posted to the Front Street Animal Shelter's Facebook page shows Courtney Gessford, 28, who's been battling brain cancer for three years, being surprised by her friends and family with puppy after puppy after puppy, hoping it would lift her spirits.

Every puppy in the shelter was brought out to her and as she began to recognize all the faces and see the puppies, she began to cry. "This is like the best day, the best moment of my life," Gessford said.

"We hope that the healing power of puppies has brought her one step closer to recovery!" the shelter said in its post.

Gessford, who is obsessed with puppies, cuddled with every single puppy at the shelter.
