Woman killed after Jeep hydroplanes, crashes into her car: PCSO
WINTER HAVEN, Fla. - A 60-year-old woman died Thursday evening after a Jeep hydroplaned and crossed into oncoming traffic, hitting her car, the Polk County Sheriff's Office said.

What we know:
The crash happened around 5:30 p.m. on Cypress Gardens Blvd. near U.S. 27 in the Winter Haven area.
According to PCSO, a 52-year-old Bartow man lost control of his Jeep Gladiator on the wet road and crossed the median, hitting a Nissan Sentra head-on. An Audi that was behind the Sentra was also involved in the crash.

The driver of the Sentra died while the other two drivers suffered minor injuries.
What we don't know:
PCSO did not release the name of the woman who died, only saying she was from Haines City.
