Wounded warrior proposes as two former presidents look on

A proposal with a presidential seal of approval is going viral, after a Bay area man popped the question to his girlfriend with not one, but two commander-in-chiefs cheering him on!

Army specialist Tyler Jeffries recently proposed to his girlfriend Lauren outside the Bush family compound in Kennebunkport, Maine while he was visiting for an event honoring wounded warriors, FOX News Insider reports.

Both George W. Bush and George H.W. Bush were there for the happy moment, along with former first lady Barbara Bush.

Jeffries, who lost his legs during an IED blast in Afghanistan in 2012, leaned on his friends for support as he got down on one knee and asked Lauren for her hand in marriage.

Their presidential audience applauded and cheered as the two sealed their engagement with a kiss.

Bush 41 later posted a photo of the moment to Twitter, along with a wish for a “lifetime of joy together.”

Jeffries, who graduated from Zephyrhills High School, has received tons of encouragement and best wishes since he posted the video to the "Supporting Tyler Jeffries" Facebook page.

"I can't thank you all enough for being so great threw my recovery. It's people like you all that make this country great," the page posted in response. "I'm truly blessed to have such a great group of friends and family thank you all!"
