Record-breaking mega coral visible from space is possibly 300 years old

The gigantic standalone coral is about 600 feet in circumference and has grown uninterrupted for three centuries, according to National Geographic Society.

Nearshore, the hogfish bite is picking up. Big mangrove snappers, blackfin tuna and kingfish are among the most active bites offshore.
