Another area in the Atlantic may also show signs of development over the weekend, but would not impact the Sunshine State. The next name on the list is Lisa.

Florida issuing relief funds for residents in hard-hit counties to help pay insurance deductibles

Millions of dollars will be allocated from the state to housing partners in six counties, including DeSoto, Hardee, and Sarasota, to help residents pay their home insurance deductibles.

FOX 13 Tony Sadiku is watching one area in the Atlantic for potential development, but it would not be a concern for Florida. He says elsewhere in the tropics there is really nothing of note. The next named storm would be Lisa, but Sadiku says there?s no sign of it developing in the near future.
