Fox 13 Meteorologist Jim Weber is watching one area in the Atlantic that is not being impacted by Saharan dust making its way off the coast of Africa. He says that while it is still unorganized, it has a 60 percent chance of developing tropical or subtropical characteristics if the wind shear cooperates. Weber said wind shear is going to impact Lorenzo, which will inhibit its center of circulation. He said Lorenzo is expected to stay out over open water and will not impact the United States. Weber cautions that hurricane season runs through November 30 and he said there are indications that something may try to work its way into the Caribbean over the next 10 days.
