Chihuly Collection highlights glass art movement

Image 1 of 4

The Chihuly Collection in downtown St. Pete is clearly a one-of-a-kind collection.

It hosts a permanent collection of Dale Chihuly, who was a pioneer in the studio glass movement. He is credited with evolving the complexity of glass art. Even the architecture of the museum is inspired by the medium.

The museum moved into its current home on Central Avenue nearly two years ago and it’s a great place to bring out-of-town guests. It’s located next door to the Morean Arts Center Glass Studio and Hot Shop.
