From Sicily to St. Pete, Cafe Cibo takes pride in Italian dishes

The city of St. Petersburg has its own Little Italy, with plenty of comfort food.

The neighborhood restaurant, Cafe Cibo, has been around since 1999. Chef Frank Schittino has been cooking up all the classic Italian dishes for nearly 20 years and prides himself with menu items that go beyond the classics.

Cibo means “food” in Italian, and the restaurant serves up plates Shrimp Scampi, Spaghetti Carbonara, Ravioli, Lasagna, and there are also plenty of pizza options. If you want to end on a sweet note, they also have tiramisu and cannoli.

Don’t forget the wine.
