Photography exhibit shows 366 days of 1968, a leap year

The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts is always hosting interesting exhibits.

The museum is located in downtown Tampa at Rivergate Tower – also known as the “beer can building.” They have one exhibit called “Day by Day: 1968.” The exhibition presents 366 vintage black-and-white news photographs from a private collection, one made on each day of 1968. It was a leap year, so that’s why there are 366 photos.

All of the images are original press images, taken from newspapers and other popular media. This exhibition gives a chronological account of each day. Each single image represents the people, events and passions of that year.
