Pioneer Florida Museum and Village ready for Civil War reenactment

A Dade City museum is preparing for war.

The Pioneer Florida Museum and Village is going back in time for “Living History and Civil War Reenactments.”

It’s a big weekend when the museum will feature different stations to learn about the Civil War, cannons, musical instruments, medical hospital units, rifles, Union Camp, Confederate Camp and the Calvary, to name a few.

Friday, February 23, will be for the school kids, and the museum has more than a thousand signed up to attend. The weekend is open to the public. Admission for guests are $5, and those under the age of five can enter for free.
