Tampa Bay Lightning celebrate 25 years with beer
CLEARWATER (FOX 13) - What better way to celebrate an anniversary than with your own beer?
The Tampa Bay Lightning commissioned Big Story Brewing Co. to create a beer to celebrate their 25th season in the National Hockey League. It’s called The Lightning Twenty Five, which is a light lager, and will be available throughout the upcoming hockey season.
The Lightning community is also celebrating Dave Andreychuk, who will be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame this year, and wore jersey No. 25 when he led the Lightning to the Stanley Cup Championship as team captain in 2004.
The Lightning Twenty Five beer will be available at both Big Storm Brewing’s taproom locations. Charley went to check out the brewery and show you what they are working on next.
(No, he didn't try the beer. It's too early for that!)
