'The Farm House' sells donuts and decor under one roof
BRADENTON, Fla. (FOX 13) - One unique Bradenton shop has found a way to combine woodworking with delicious donuts.
Inside “The Farm House,” you’ll not only be visiting a donut shop with quite the décor, but the décor is also for sale. It’s part donut and coffee shop, and part furniture shop. One of their specialty donuts is homemade sausage and gravy over gluten-free donuts.
The owners, Steven and his wife, Nancy, opened up the shop a year and a half ago. They have since expanded their menu to include more lunch options, like salads and chicken wings. Initially, the couple were creating beautiful pieces of rustic furniture and home decor out of wood, and selling them to large companies, such as Wayfair, Disney and Google. They decided it was time to set up a shop and sell their creations locally.
There was some space left over, and they thought it would be the perfect fit to sell donuts. At first, they were mini-sized, but now they sell "full-size" donuts as well. Their specialty one serves homemade sausage and gravy over donuts.
The donuts are tasty, the rustic furniture is beautiful, and that makes for an odd, but interesting combination. For more information, click over to The Farm House's website.
