This $2-million RV is fancier than a house

There are RVs, trailers, and coaches of all shapes and sizes at this weekend’s RV show at the Florida State Fairgrounds, but one ride in particular stands out: A $2.2-million monster.

“I don’t know if you can call this an RV,” Charley Belcher said during a tour of the coach. “This is like a rocks star’s tour bus."

“This is the pinnacle of RVing, right here,” agreed Marathon Coach spokesman Casey.

The coach features all of the standard RV gear, along with luxurious upgrades: Tile – heated, of course – and a fireplace. The kitchen has a built-in coffeemaker, oven, and wine cooler – all of which disappear silently behind an automatic door if you don’t want to see them.

There’s a well-appointed bathroom with tiled shower, then a master bedroom with a king bed, built-in TV, and its own bathroom.  And don’t forget the washer and dryer.

So what the gas mileage?

“We don’t talk about that,” Casey laughed.
