'Top End' creates machines for athletes with disabilities

A Pinellas Park company builds machines to make life better for its customers.

“Top End” makes wheelchairs designed for athletes with disabilities. Wheelchair racing bikes, chairs used for basketball and tennis are all manufactured in Pinellas Park. 

The company started in 1986, and in 1993 was bought by Invacare. They are now making 3,500 to 4,000 chairs a year and shipping them around the world.
