2017 calendar features Lakeland firefighters and rescued pets

LAKELAND, Fla. - Two of everyone's favorites are teaming up for a good cause! The Rescued Pets 2017 Calendar featuring Lakeland firefighters at famous Lakeland landmarks is out.

The calendars feature tips from both organizations along with the photos of firefighters with adorable pets that were actually rescued.

The calendars cost $10 and all proceeds benefit the SPCA Florida.

They can be purchased at the Lakeland Fire Department's Administration Building or online: www.spcaflorida.org 

Last year's calendars raised $10,000 to pay for the medical care of animals encountered on human emergency scenes by the Lakeland Fire Department and treated at SPCA Florida's McClurg Medical Center.
