$3,000 reward offered for info in armed home invasion
The search is on for three suspects after home invasion robbery that took place earlier this week.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office says it happened around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday at a home in the 6000 block of Legends Estates Drive.
The victim told detectives three armed, black men kicked in her front door, walked into her bedroom and demanded her jewelry box and her cell phone, and then grabbed a 32-inch TV that was mounted in her living room before they took off.
Detectives believe they were driving a silver, four-door Mazda 3, and were heading south on Dale Mabry Highway from West Idlewild Avenue.
The suspects are described as:
- Black male, short black hair, goatee, 6', 220 lbs., tattoos on both arms, last seen wearing a white t-shirt, baggy blue jeans, sneakers and armed with a black handgun.
- Black male, short black hair, black chin hair, 5'10", 170 lbs., tattoos on both arms, last seen wearing a tank top, white shorts, sneakers and armed with a black handgun.
- Black male, short black hair, 5'10", 160 lbs , last seen wearing a black jacket, white shorts, sneakers and armed with a black handgun.
Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the unknown suspects in this case.
Officials ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477).
