4 rescued after plane winds up in water off Albert Whitted Airport

Four people are OK after their small plane wound up in the water off Albert Whitted Airport in St. Pete.

The aircraft belonged to a flight school at the waterfront airport.  It's now submerged in the bay, but the Coast Guard says all four people aboard made it out safely thanks to some good Samaritans.

The cause of the crash was not immediately clear.
