ADORABLE: Baby orangutan and mother reunite for first time

An adorable baby orangutan was reunited with her mother for the first time since birth and it was a beautiful reunion. The mother woke the baby and they embraced each other immediately at the Memphis Zoo on Thursday.

The pair were separated for 11 days following the C-section birth of the baby.

Zookeepers cared for the newborn, bottle feeding him and watching him hang around, while his mom, "Jahe," recuperated from the delivery.

Jahe took to motherhood right away, nursing her little one within 24 hours.

The Memphis Zoo is now holding a contest to name the baby, which was born March 19. No date has been set yet for the baby's public debut.
