Airborne car lands on roof of home in St. Louis
ST. LOUIS, Mo. - A car crashed onto the roof of a home in St. Louis, seriously injuring the car's driver.
Police say the car was speeding down the road and lost control of the vehicle, launching off a hill and right onto the roof of the home on Sunday.
The car appears to also have damaged a neighboring home.
Fortunately, the occupant of the home was at the gym at the time of the crash and was uninjured. But firefighters told FOX 2 in St. Louis the driver was trapped under the dashboard and transported to the hospital in critical condition with injuries to his lower body.
