Alcides tours the Polk County Haunted Jail

BARTOW (FOX 13) - FOX 13'S Alcides Segui headed to the Polk County Haunted Jail to check out the frights on Friday. 

Every year for Halloween, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office’s old jail in Bartow is transformed into an even spookier place than it normally is.  This year's theme is "Zombie Outbreak." 

The cost of a tour is a $5 donation, and proceeds go to the United Way of Central Florida.
