Bay Area March for Babies
Celebrities like singer, actress and American Idol judge, Jennifer Lopez has shown her support to the March of Dimes in the past - cutting the ribbon and kicking-off the March for Babies in Miami a few years ago.
Lopez is the mother of twins and shares the mission of the March of Dimes - to help ensure moms will enjoy healthy, full term pregnancies. The organization also funds research to find the causes and prevention of premature birth.
We here at FOX 13 News also care greatly about this cause and the station is a sponsor of the March for Babies, happening April 23 in Tampa and on April 30 in Lakeland, Sarasota, Safety Harbor, and Wesley Chapel.
