Bear rescued from car

Some quick-thinking officers in Colorado manged to get a bear out of a car.

The officers from the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office used a rope to open a car door in the town of Conifer.

After teh strategic move the bear was able to quickly run away into the woods.  It left behind a car that was torn to shreds.

No one was hurt.

The sheriff's office said it's "pawsitively sure" locking the door reduces the chances of losing important items and having a vehicle trashed.
