For children in Bradenton, it’s not too late to get a Halloween costume.

Support the Troops, Inc. in Wesley Chapel donated more than 500 costumes to Bradenton police. The sizes range for those who are 12 months old to four years old. The costumes are available at the police department starting at 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. The address is 100 10th Street West in Bradenton.

The costumes are a first-come, first-serve basis with a limit to two per family. If parents bring their kids with them, then it’s one costume per child, police said.

For more information, families can contact Sgt. Leo Donnelly at (941) 741-3044 or Officer Phil Ajello at (941) 932-9301.

Police also recommend parents to “jazz up” the costumes and make them safer by adding reflective or glow-in-the-dark tape while out trick-or-treating.
