Seminole firefighters said they're working on a brush fire that has rekindled near Osceola High School. It's happening near 98th St. and 102nd. Ave. N.
Firefighters said the fire is burning at the Lake Seminole Preserve Equestrian area and no one is in danger. However, residents in the area are being urged to stay indoors to avoid the smoke. Motorists are also advised to use caution because of limited visibility in the area due to smoke.
Seminole Fire, the Pinellas County Parks Department and State of Florida Forestry units are all on scene. The fire broke out Sunday, but firefighters said the hot spots are sending heavy smoke into surrounding areas.
