Busch Gardens Tampa Bay will serve free beer in 2019

TAMPA (FOX 13) - Free beer is returning to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay for an entire year.

During this past summer, Busch Gardens revisited its roots as a beer garden when it first opened in 1959. Today, the theme park announced the return of two free beers for adult guests per visit for all of 2019, as part of Busch Gardens' 60th anniversary.

Two complimentary samples will be available at the Garden Gate Café or Serengeti Overlook Pub, the café formerly known as Hospitality House where free beer used to be a tradition, but ended in 2009 after the company was sold. 

Current pass members can enjoy the complimentary beers during October as a “preview” of the upcoming anniversary.

Next year, Busch Gardens will also launch a four-tier passholder program that will not require a down payment, and, for a limited time, introductory prices start at $9.99 for Florida residents.

Bronze Pass: Some blockout dates apply, but guests will save on parking and dining. The amount of savings was not specified.
Silver Pass: Unlimited admission is included, as well as free parking, one guest ticket and additional benefits.
Gold Pass: Free preferred parking is included, two guest tickets, additional discounts, and other perks like a free animal encounter and a free annual PhotoKey. 
Platinum Pass: Unlimited admission to 11 SeaWorld and Busch Gardens locations in the U.S. It will include free ride-again privileges and reserved show seating.
