Car slams into Clearwater condo building

CLEARWATER (FOX 13) - Two people are being checked out at the hospital after a car plowed into a building in Clearwater.

Emergency officials say the Ford Focus slammed into a unit at the On Top of the World condos off World Parkway Boulevard.

The 84-year-old driver and a 77-year-old woman inside the unit were both taken to a hospital as a precaution.
