Clearwater to see high levels of traffic NYE weekend
CLEARWATER, Fla. - The City of Clearwater is urging residents in Pinellas County to be aware of higher traffic levels as the Bay Area prepares to host various events leading up to the new year.
According to the city, the ReliaQuest Bowl Beach Day, hosted on Dec. 29th, and Light It Up Clearwater, hosted on Dec. 31st, will be the biggest two factors in the increased traffic.
Ongoing construction along Coronado Drive and South Gulfview Boulevard is expected to increase traffic levels as the city sees an influx of people over the holiday weekend.
