Customer nearly hit when SUV reverses into Washington cafe

BURLINGTON, Wash. (STORYFUL) - An SUV narrowly missed a cafe customer after it backed into the front window of a coffee shop in Burlington, Washington, on March 22.

CCTV footage shared to the Foxy Lady Cafe, Burlington Facebook page shows an SUV backing into the front window of the cafe at high speed stopping short before hitting a customer standing at a bar. The customer jumps over the counter after the SUV came to a complete stop. 

The back tires of the SUV were seen continuing to spin, and eventually creating some white smoke in the cafe.

The vehicle took out walls, windows, and tables, causing significant damage to the cafe, according to the cafe’s Facebook post.
