Firefighters in Cincinnati rescued a distressed deer from beneath a van on November 19, though at the cost of one of the animal’s antlers.

A video posted to the Cincinnati Fire Department’s Facebook page shows crew members working to free the buck from under the vehicle.

Once the buck is partially freed, firefighters cleared out to let the animal pull itself from under the van.

Despite being down an antler, the otherwise unscathed deer ran away.

Information about how the deer became stuck under the van was not provided.
