Deputies arrest Holiday man who barricaded himself inside home after burglary: PCSO

A man who barricaded himself inside his Holiday home after he allegedly committed a burglary and battery, has been arrested, according to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies say the attempted robbery happened Friday at 5:20 p.m. on Salibury Dr., and when they arrived at the scene, they found the victims of the robbery beaten up in a car outside the home.

The man first entered the house before finding the homeowners in an outside car, where he beat them up, PCSO says.

PCSO says the suspect has been charged with two counts of Burglary and Battery.

This is an isolated event, and there is no public safety threat, according to PSCO.
