Deputies: Victim's debit card cloned by fraud suspects
PINELLAS PARK (FOX 13) - The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office is investigating a case of debit card fraud.
Two suspects are wanted in connection with the use of a woman's debit card at multiple WaWa stores in Pinellas County.
Investigators said the woman never lost her debit card. They believe the suspects made a clone of the victim's card.
The suspects charged more than $1,000 worth of cigarettes on the debit card. Anyone with information about the crime is asked to contact Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.
