Disney magic gets solar power source

A new solar farm near Walt Disney World is getting a lot of attention.  It's in the shape of Mickey Mouse, of course, and you can only see it by air.

Duke Energy built the 48,000-panel solar farm near EPCOT.  It's the size of more than 17 football fields and produces five megawatts of electricity to power Disney's massive park system.

Disney officials say Walt Disney himself would be proud.

"He was so ahead of his time and he was so passionate about protecting the natural world and I can just imagine him here today in central Florida and seeing this giant Mickey that's going to be producing electricity, and I can just imagine that he would love this moment," Angie Renner offered.

The project is part of Disney's efforts to make its resorts more environmentally sustainable.
