Simba and Oscar aren't just part of Kimberly Papale's family. The dogs have become a staple of her online business.

"It all started from my first rescue dog. His name was Scrappy Doo," said Papale.

Scrappy Doo was a dog she found on the streets of Michigan back in 2005.

"Best decision of my life to adopt him," she said.

Papale gave the dog a loving home. Since he brought her so much joy, she wanted to create something positive that could help other dogs like him.

"Scrappy Dizzle Designz; we sell greeting cards, magnets, and notebooks. We also have a Facebook page where we post dogs that are adoptable," said Papale.

The greeting cards and magnets feature pictures of Scrappy Doo, Simba, and Oscar.

Part of the proceeds goes to help animal rescues.

"We've donated to animal-based charities in Tampa," said Papale.

Scrappy Doo passed this year. But through the business and his adopted siblings, his legacy continues.

"I'm going to always keep his memory alive in helping other rescue animals in need," said Papale.
