Driver dies after car accident in Wimauma
WIMAUMA (FOX13) - A driver is dead after an accident in Wimauma and troopers are still trying to figure out what happened.
It happened on State Road 674 just after 4 PM Friday.
Florida Highway Patrol says a car was traveling west on SR 674, when the driver lost control of the car and veered into the eastbound lanes.
Another driver going east tried to swerve to miss the oncoming car, but couldn’t.
The first car overturned onto the shoulder of the road and the driver was killed.
The driver of the second car and her 15-year-old passenger are in critical condition at Tampa General Hospital.
