Police in Pennsylvania, had a unique way to tell people to stay off the roads during a snowstorm on Wednesday.

“Everyone crashed,” an image with a red squiggle over a map said on the department’s Facebook page. “Today’s traffic report: STAY HOME!!,” the accompanying message said.

About 90 minutes earlier, the department said there was about four inches of snow on the ground and warned Route 50 was not in good conditions.

“So be careful, leave early and allow yourself extra time,” the department said on Facebook.

The National Weather Service reported Wednesday morning that nearly five inches of snow had fallen.

The snow was expected to taper off by the afternoon.
