UPDATE: FDLE has issued an Amber Alert for missing Citrus County children.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has now issued an Amber Alert in the case of missing children Rylan Williams, 3,  and Mason Williams, 1. Both children were forcibly taken from their home by their mother Stacey Williams. The FDLE alert states that they may be in the company of their father Ryan Williams as well.

Both adults are known drug users with a violent history that causes concern for the safety and well being of the two children.

Citrus County deputies are asking for the public's help to find two missing and endangered children.

Around 5:45 Saturday evening, deputies say Stacey Williams burst into the home of her children's guardian, and took 3-year-old Rylan Williams and 1-year-old Mason Williams by force.  Authorities say Williams is the mother of the children and is homeless.  Her children were in the care of the guardian by court order and she had no legal rights to take them.  The guardian lives in the area of four corners in Lecanto.

The guardian told deputies that Williams texted her, demanding to see the children, but was refused before she came to the house.  When the guardian tried to call 911, she says Williams grabbed the phone from her and broke it on the floor, then grabbed her face, causing scratches and redness.  Williams then reportedly took the children and left.

Deputies say Williams sometimes drives a white 2004 Ford Expedition with tag DNSC62.

The Sheriff's Office has received information that suggests Williams may be headed to West Virginia.  Deputies have alerted the authorities there but are looking for the public's help in locating these missing children.

A warrant has been issued for Williams with charges of burglary with battery and interference with child custody.

Anyone with information about this incident or the location of the children, is asked to call 911 immediately.
