Flamingos hunker down to ride out Hurricane Florence

Workers at a zoo in South Carolina corralled the flamingos to get them in a safe place to ride out Hurricane Florence.

More than 40 flamingos were moved indoors by the staff at the Riverbanks Zoo and Garden in Columbia.

The zoo posted video of workers taking the flamingos by golf cart to their indoor enclosed area, where they will be safe.

The zoo said it will be closed Friday through Sunday until the storm moves through.
