Free pet adoptions Saturday at Pasco Animal Services
(FOX 13) - Pasco County Animal Services (PCAS) is offering free adoptions because the shelter is overloaded with strays.
PCAS said after many cases of hoarding, plus strays coming in off the street, there are more than 200 cats and dogs available and waiting to be adopted.
Visit PCAS on Saturday, October 29, and adoption fees will be waived.
If you are missing your pet, please check the shelter. If you would like to adopt, they probably have a pet for you. If you already have pets at home - keep them there and make sure they are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped and are wearing their county tag.
If adoption is not an option at this time, PCAS asks you please help the cause by spreading the word. The more people who adopt, the more lives will be saved.
For additional information or volunteer opportunities, please visit the Pasco County Animal Services Department website at http://www.pascocountyfl.net/PAS, or call (813) 929 1212, (352) 521 5194, or (727) 834 3216.
We are waiving our adoption fees this weekend for everybody who brings in a bag of treats for the cats and dogs. Please help us get the word out. We really need to find a lot of homes this weekend. I have attached the press release and flyer for the waived fees. All help will be appreciated.
