Get to the coast to catch the show
Bay Area Gulf Coast - This beautiful weather calls to beach lovers to, "Get outside."
With so much coast line to enjoy, one of the best shows in the Bay Area plays every night on the biggest screen of all.
What show is that?
It's the sunset over the Gulf of Mexico.
There's a new show every evening with colors that vary with every wisp of cloud and change of the wind.
Seeing the sunset is free, so the hard part is picking where to view it from along the coastline.
Ask yourself these questions: How far do I want to travel? How much competition do I want for that prime beach spot (crowds)? Do I want access to bathrooms, restaurants and other amenities... or not?
Those are the hard choices, but the spectacular views can be seen from areas that meet all of those criteria.
Beach lovers may have their favorite spots, but for those still looking for options, Visit St. Pete / Clearwater has several suggestions on their website.
You can find those here: https://www.visitstpeteclearwater.com/list/top-sunset-spots
Tonight's show is at 7:44 pm, but if you miss it, it's ok, there's another one tomorrow.
