Giant water slide to take over downtown Tampa
TAMPA, Fla. - It's here! A 1,400 foot water slide is going to take over downtown Tampa Saturday, dubbed "the biggest slip and slide ever to hit asphalt," (don't worry, it's cushioned.)
Slide the City will have two slides going over the N. Boulevard bridge.
Costs range between $10 and $20 for a single slide, depending on when you sign up. Triple slider pricing is between $30 and $45, and then there’s the “Ultimate Slider” package, which allows unlimited sliding, that costs between $50 and $65.
This same event was supposed to make a stop in Lakeland last year, but ended up being canceled. For those who can't make this one, Slide the City said it will be back in the Tampa area in September.
