Haines City police search for murder suspect

HAINES CITY (FOX 13) - Haines City police officers are searching for a homicide suspect on Saturday.

According to investigators, 38-year-old Maclovio Salas killed the mother of his children, 37-year-old Ricio Mozqueda, early Saturday morning at a home on N. 18th Street.

Police said the crime was witnessed by their children, aged 17, 14 and six years old. 

Salas fled from the home after the murder. Police said a warrant for his arrest has been issued.

Salas is believed to be driving a black Toyota Camry. He is armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911.
