HCSO: Suspects steal ATV, shoot man outside Seffner home
Deputies are searching for two suspects in an overnight robbery that ended in gunfire.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said it happened around 4 a.m. outside of a home in the 1600 block of Taylor Road in Seffner.
Investigators said the victim, 35-year-old Gilben Longino Comacho, woke up to the sound of his dogs barking, so he walked outside to see what was going on.
While in his yard, detectives said two suspects ordered him to the ground, then rolled an ATV from the yard to their vehicle that was parked nearby.
They came back and shot Comacho before they took off.
Deputies said he is now in serious condition at the hospital, but they expect he will survive.
