Highlands County deputies shoot, kill armed man in Sebring
SEBRING, Fla. - Two Highlands County deputies shot an armed suspect in Sebring on Sunday morning.
According to the Highlands County Sheriff's Office, the deputies responded to a possible domestic dispute on Bridle Path shortly before 5 a.m.
The deputies encountered an armed man, Dustin Alexander Nealis, 43, who they opened fire on for unknown reasons. The man was fatally shot.
The deputies were not injured. No further details have been released.
